indicating moderate to heavy rain. the zooming in and around the bay area you can see spotty showers in san francisco. a round ocean beach and the downtown area. we're still contending with light showers at the bay bridge toll plaza. your easter free ride starting to dry out. light rain in east berkeley. --east shore freeway ride. >> the ride along highway 4 starts improve. for walnut creek the downtown area highway 24 approach in the caldecott tunnel. take a look at the south bay we're starting to dry out. we have light rain reported in evergreen and amid peninsula. spotty showers. we will encounter slick roadways you may need to use your wipers' heading out to work or school. we have a good adults in of wet weather. we already have it some spotty showers in the

light showers may be a mist later on. we will see sunshine. temperatures climbing into the '60s by later this afternoon. there is not a whole lot on the back side of the system. a bit of moisture off shore. not much will approach the bay area. we are tracking to forecast. a very wet morning but dry conditions, sunshine, and mild temperatures heading into the afternoon. let us take it live to the bay bridge toll plaza visibility has improved. you can make out the head lights. we are seeing rain drops on the camera lens. futurecast for putting into motion a a.m. spotty showers could continue. dry for the east bay shoreline at 12:00. could pick up light rain for the north bay highway 101. you may need your umbrellas even by 8:00 p.m. tonight. the rain will continue to diminish throughout the day but focusing on rainfall

totals and the password deflowers. we have picked up an impressive amount. in the last couple of hours we have seen 3 tenths of an inch for downtown san francisco. almost three-quarters of an inch for santa rosa. more in the north bay. we could see a couple inches of snow in the northern sierra. we have delays on arriving flights at sf o averaging almost two hours. the faa said they will implement their ground delay program at 8:00 a.m.. we could see delays through the course of the morning, afternoon, and evening hours. full details on your extended forecast in a couple of minutes. george. >> still tracking delays on the nimitz with flooding an earlier accidents now cleared the drive ties are improving but slower than usual in the north bound direction. the worst flooding problems are reported at high street and broadway. looking at the

rest of the bay area ride we will show you the commute on six '80s south bound. 580 is recovering somewhat from the early morning problems. it is slower than usual from strong bridge into castro valley. >> south bay freeways were scared much of the problems on the east bay this morning with the rain that came through. some slowing for 85 at 101, otherwise not too badly. >> the marin ride is heavy in northern ramp 4101 southbound. >> there is a report of an accident on the waldo grade on the northbound direction not southbound. no indication that is having any impact on the south bound ride. >> here is a big stbridge check. >> the bay bridge toll plaza a 22 minute drive times because of the slow

yesterday for sexually assaulting a female victim, was 15 years older at the time a daly city woman faces at least 16 years in prison for killing her ex-husband by dousing it with boiling water. she pleaded no contest to second-degree murder yesterday. she shared a park with her ex-husband in daly city. prosecutors say in november to about 11 she pulled a blanket while he slept in through a pile of scalding water on him. sentencing for her is scheduled for may 17th. detectives arrested an oakland man in connection with the essentials of that was committed on a transit bus three years ago in roh nert park. 58 year-old
